Since 1912, the original home of the Southern California Flower Market — 742 Maple Ave.

Since 1912, the Southern California Flower Market at 742 Maple Ave has been the beating heart of the West Coast flower trade. We remain the only building housing original founding Japanese growers, including Endo Flower Farms (1926-present), whose Japanese American families helped shape this market from its earliest days. Today, that founding legacy lives alongside a thriving, multicultural community of vendors — Japanese, American, Dutch, Mexican, Korean, and Armenian — each bringing their own traditions and expertise to the floor. Just steps from Downtown LA’s Fashion District, our market has long drawn stylists, designers, and entertainment industry professionals seeking rare and exceptional blooms — and for decades, has helped supply the flowers behind the Rose Bowl Parade’s iconic floats. Through war, loss, and reinvention, we remain a living link between farm and florist for over a century. Step onto the floor, and you’re standing in the middle of a story still being written — one bloom at a time.
